UDP is a networking system that I used previously before in a Max/MSP and Izadora project for dance - and it has been becoming increasingly apparent that with this two computer setup, it's going to be a core communication system in this project. I had aready got it working with transferring regular data such as a [number] value (after a struggle between 32bit and 64bit software). However, I have now successfully managed to send the Markov data dump from the laptop to the PC, and have it formatted in the same way on both ends. This means that, if the seeds are the same on both computers, then the notes being produced are completely identical!
