After a long while of trying to work out how to use the [transport] object as a universal timing system WHILST having the option to switch between 1/4, 1/18 and 1/16 notes etc., I believe I have finally got it working in Markov Interface 0.62! The Markov generations are now directly using timings from [transport], instead of using [metro]. I had a similar idea initially, but couldn't work out how to use it to produce a variety of note lengths/trigger rates. Generations are now more a lot more accurate, remaining in time even when the trigger rate is changed. I even tried recording midi generations onto a duplicate MIDI track and this was successful! Can't wait to try this out when the APC40 is in the equation...
