This month has given this project a good start. I've dipped my toes into the world of MaxForLive, and it has only caused my love for Max/MSP to grow. I've explored how to create M4L devices and how they communicate with each other, and I've learned about API and how it can be used to hack into the user interface of Ableton. Perhaps most of all though, I've created a basic way of representing Markov chains via a user interface, which was one of the first key goals of this project.

But it's time to take it up a notch. I want to get this interface working musically, and I want it to work in semi real-time. I will be able to audition a whole bunch of Markov generations, tweak them and cue them - ready for performance.
